Identity Exploration, Trauma, Relationships, Women’s Issues, Family Dynamics, Stress and Adjustment

Katherine’s path to counseling began with a strong commitment to supporting families in special education, which led her to develop a passion for helping people heal and grow. She has worked with individuals of all ages in school and community mental health settings, addressing topics such as trauma, relationships, identity exploration, stress, family dynamics, and adjustment to life changes. Katherine’s approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, teen, adult, or family, providing personalized support for navigating life’s challenges.

She utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Brainspotting, to help clients process and release emotional trauma. In addition, she integrates creative therapies and evidence-based methods like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to ensure each session is meaningful and effective.

Katherine works with children, teens, adults, and families, offering a compassionate and personalized approach for each client. She holds a Master's in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University and deeply values the therapeutic relationship. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can feel heard, understood, and gently encouraged to overcome personal barriers and move toward healing and growth.
