Originally from Arlington, TX, Ashton started working with children in 2011. Her passion is helping others become more confident in who they are and how they function in the world. Ashton utilizes play-based therapy to help clients develop coping skills, process difficult experiences, and learn to regulate their emotions. Ashton works to engage parents in the therapeutic relationship to help the family system as a whole, specifically in navigating family transitions of separation/divorce, new relationships, and and introduction of step-siblings and parents. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and completed her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University.
