Jonathan’s professional journey began as a teacher/counselor at Magnolia Academy, a wilderness boot camp for misguided children. It was this adventure that would lead him to take a position at a more traditional wilderness program called Three Springs. During his tenure with Three Springs, Jonathan was promoted from a counselor to a supervisor of a short-term program called Leaps. Feeling called to pursue a master’s degree, he moved to Waxahachie, TX to obtain a Master’s in Counseling/Psychology at Southwestern Assembly of God University (SAGU). Upon graduating from SAGU, he gained employment at Adapt of Texas, a private organization working with consumers, family members, and other providers to develop recovery-oriented services for those who suffer from psychological disorders. From at Adapt, he moved to Wylie Center at Holston United Methodist Children’s Home, where he became a director for a residential treatment center. Having a need to be closer to family, Jonathan moved back to Franklin, TN to start and head Mercy Behavioral Healthcare program, where he served as its Chief Behavioral Health Officer. Jonathan is a founding member and managing partner of Arcadian Therapeutic Services.
