Originally from Austin, Texas, Gracen understands the importance of authenticity and individuality and brings that perspective into her work with children and families. From working on the adolescent unit in a psychiatric hospital to providing one-on-one support to children through art and education, Gracen utilized evidence-based approaches in providing individualized treatment for her clients. Gracen incorporates play-based therapy and expressive arts into sessions to help clients develop healthy communication and emotional processing and coping skills. Gracen received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South and is finishing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in Play Therapy, at Lipscomb University.
