Counseling for Children

Children, like adults, can benefit from therapy to help develop the skills to navigate the struggles and difficulties of life.

Therapy can be a safe place for a child to develop problem-solving, coping, emotional regulation, and social skills and teach them it is ok to learn new things and also ask for help in appropriate ways.

Your clinician will look at the areas of life that are experiencing distress and work to explore the roots of the emotional or behavioral struggles.

We help children and families deal with stress, communicate more effectively, and respond to emotional triggers in healthy, developmentally appropriate ways.

Using a variety of therapeutic styles and interventions, our goal is to help your child expand their window of tolerance for managing distress to support their long-term social and emotional growth.
